The Journal of Information Society Review Procedure
I. Each paper is reviewed by two anonymous reviewers. Review opinions are divided into four categories: accept publication, minor revision, substantial revision, and reject publication. In the case of non-consensus between the reviewers, the paper will be sent to a third party for review.
II.Manuscripts submitted to the Journal are promptly reviewed, and the time between receipt and publication is determined by the review progress. All review procedures are completed in three to six months. The review procedure is as follow:
(1) Internal review by the Editorial Board
The Editorial Board evaluates the academic value of the paper and whether it fulfills the purpose of the Journal.
(2) External review
After internal review by the Editorial Board, 2-3 professional reviewers from relevant field will review the manuscript and submit comments.
The Editorial Board then integrates the evaluation feedback and inform the author of the final review outcome.
After author revision, the manuscript will be reviewed again by the reviewers until the content meets publication standard.
Once the manuscript meets review requirements, the paper is published upon approval by the Editorial Board.
